Among the most interesting singers of the new generation, he was chosen by Riccardo Muti for the role of Agamemnon in Iphigénie en Aulide at the Opera in Rome. Right after he debuted at La Scala in Milan as the Fourth Tempter in Assassinio nella Cattedrale by Pizzetti. Among recent commitments: La Cambiale di Matrimonio and L’Education Manqué at the Wexford Festival, Death in Venice, Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Roméo et Juliette at La Fenice in Venice, La Sonnambula in Graz, La Forza del Destino and I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata at the Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata, L’Italiana in Algeri at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza and Il Trovatore at the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna. Particularly interesting it is the collaboration with Riccardo Muti who conducted Mr. Dall’Amico in several and prestigious occasions, such as: Macbeth (Banco), Attila (Leone), I Due Foscari at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome; Nabucco at the Salzburg Festival; series of concerts in Chicago with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and at the Ravenna Festival then on tour in Nairobi. Recent engagements include: L’Africaine, La Clemenza di Tito and Il Barbiere di Siviglia at La Fenice in Venice. Plans include: Aida in St. Margarethen; Il Campiello at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale in Florence; Flastaff in Chicago, Muti conducting.
Patrick Fournillier - conductor
Invited by the major opera houses as an expert in Italian and French operatic repertoire, he performed at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Bayerische Staatsoper, the Dresden Semperoper, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence, the Washington National Opera, often collaborating with Placido Domingo. M°Fournillier received the Grand Prix du Disque for his recording of French opera arias with Natalie Dessay and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Monte Carlo. During his tenure as Music Director of the Orchestra Sinfonica Arturo Toscanini in Parma, he linked his name to the Verdi celebrations in 2001. Patrick Fournillier recently conducted: Don Pasquale at the Norske Opera in Oslo; Carmen, Les pêcheurs de perles at the Zurich Opernhaus and Manon Lescaut at the Semperoper in Dresden. As returning guest at the San Francisco Opera Patrick Fournillier gained great success conducting Alfano’s Cyrano and Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffman, while more recently he conducted Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Palm Beach. Future plans: L’etoile at the Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam; Thaïs and a lyric concert at the Los Angeles Opera; Carmen at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
